Frequently Asked Questions…

What is a setup fee for promotional items?

Most vendors will charge a fee to prepare your art for imprinting. This can usually range from $30-$60. If you reorder your item, you generally pay a reduced set up fee.

What does four color process mean?

Depending on your logo, you may opt to choose to print in one or two colors, which would be considered a ‘spot imprint’. If you have more than two colors, it can be more affordable to use a ‘four color process’ or CMYK. DP&G will help you decide which option is available, and best for your project.

What types of files can I submit?

  • Promotional Items and Print will require high resolution (at least 300 dpi) vector artwork. Vector art is usually created in Adobe Illustrator and is an .eps or .ai file. Are you unsure if your file is vector? Don’t worry, we can help. Converting your file into a usable vector file may result in additional charges. We will contact you prior to converting your file and give you the option of providing a different one.

Can I use my own PMS Color?

Yes, we provide PMS color-matching unless the vendor does not allow it. If you have a specific PMS color in mind, please specify this during your conversation with us.

This is a helpful tool, but remember no two computer monitors will display a color exactly the same, and the printed color may vary.

What is an over/under run?

Due to some vendors’ production processes, there is the potential for up to 10% over/under runs. This means you may receive 10% more or less than your requested quantity. We will only invoice you for the exact quantity shipped.

What are my options for ordering apparel?

You may choose to screen print or embroider your item, depending on your desired quality or use. We can help you choose which method would be best for your project.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept personal checks and all major credit cards.
